MN SPJ is Looking for Board Members

The Minnesota Professional Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists is seeking nominations for its 2014 elections. Would you like to play an active role in the future of MN SPJ and Minnesota journalism? Consider running for the MN SPJ board of directors this spring. Several director positions will be open.

Directors serve two-year terms. Members from all over the state are encouraged to get involved (MN SPJ can arrange for telecommuting to meetings and/or help with travel costs).  The only requirement to apply is an interest in Minnesota journalism and current SPJ membership. Board members help with the statewide Page One Awards journalism contest, planning events, keeping an eye on FOI issues and much more.
